VentureVersity is a newly funded collaboration between Leicester, Loughborough and De Montfort Universities plus the wider local entrepreneurial community to help turn academic ideas into commercial reality via spin-outs and business collaborations.
We're inviting academics, business founders, suppliers, investors, students, graduates, mentors, and anyone else interested, to join us at one or more of our three VentureVersity Mixer Sessions.
These sessions will enable academic researchers to showcase their innovative ideas and foster the formation of project teams by leveraging the collective skills, time, resources, facilities, and data available in our local innovation ecosystem.
Successful applicants will receive support from friendly experienced entrepreneurs, advisors, and investors, plus a chance to win funding of up to £50,000 and a place on a unique commercialisation accelerator programme.
